Gabriel Santos is a professional horse trainer based in the English countryside, specializing in polo horses. With hands-on experience since 2009, he is known for transforming horses of all levels — from green or difficult horses to refined, high-performance athletes.
Born into a horse-loving family in Brazil, Gabriel learned the foundations of horsemanship from his father, Juracy Santos — a respected horseman whose legacy shaped Gabriel’s discipline, intuition, and deep respect for every animal he works with.
His approach is thoughtful and results-driven, always tailored to the unique personality of each horse. Today, Gabriel mentors clients across the UK, offering personalized guidance both online and in person, helping riders and horses progress with clarity, trust, and purpose.
Our Story
In 2015, Gabriel Santos arrived at the prestigious polo farm of Henry Brett in Witney, Oxfordshire. What began as a professional opportunity quickly turned into a lasting partnership and friendship. Henry, a respected figure in British polo, not only opened the gates to world-class facilities but also played a key role in helping Gabriel recognize his own potential.
Over time, Gabriel established his own independent line of work — training horses with complete dedication and care. Today, he runs his own client stables within the farm, where Gabriel and his team handles the horses entrusted to him. Each horse receives individual attention and tailored training, maintaining the highest standard of horsemanship.
The purpose behind Gabriel’s work goes beyond riding. His mission is to help horses reach their full potential and to guide people for these results. Whether in the saddle or in life, Gabriel’s vision is to build strength, confidence, and connection — one horse, one rider, one story at a time.
